Fitsum is a rare find! While it is hard enough to even find childcare, it is even harder to find someone as kind, patient, and good-humored as Fitsum. We are so glad our child is in her hands. You can pay someone to watch your child, feed your child, and change their diapers- but you can’t pay anyone to love or dote on your child the way Fitsum does for all of the kids in her care. She bonds with each one and they really know they are safe and supported by her. I appreciate her communication and updates, especially with a young baby under 1. Going back to work as a first time mom was/is so hard! Fitsum now feels like the third parent to us helping us through this precious time with our son. I could say so much more- she is just a genuinely awesome person and provider.

I can't say enough good things about Miss Fitsum and Sunshine Daycare! I enrolled my 3yr old daughter and 5yr old son at the start of April at her in-home daycare. My daughter still goes there full time while my son just recently graduated to kindergarten. She has made us feel like family from day 1. She is so invested in all the children and has a way of connecting with each of them. She knows their individual needs and what makes them smile. She puts a lot of effort into their educational needs, their nutrition, and their social skills. The environment is safe and well thought out. As a worrying mother, I trust her explicitly and am so grateful we have found her daycare. Any parent would be lucky to have their children placed in her care! My family owes a big thank you to Miss Fitsum, particularly for for helping to successfully launch my son into kindergarten, for helping my daughter with potty training, for helping me by allowing me to get to work every day, and so much more.
